Hello and welcome to Good Beginnings Studio! Let me share a little bit about myself. 

​

Music has always been a part of my life. I started piano as a youngster growing up in Rockville, Md. After exploring other instruments and activities I decided that performing and teaching piano was the path for me. I received my B.A. in Music from St. Mary's College of Maryland where I studied with Brian Ganz, an internationally renowned pianist best known for his ongoing project to perform all of Frédéric Chopin's piano works.  I graduated with my M.M. in Piano Performance from George Mason University studying alongside Dr. Linda Apple Monson, recipient of the 2009 George Mason University Teaching Excellence Award, the 2012 George Mason University Distinguished Faculty Member of the Year award, and the prestigious Influential Women of Virginia award in 2014. 

 

I perform all over the DMV and recently performed in the 2019 Alba Music Festival in Alba, Italy. August 30th and 31st I will be performing at Piano Festival by the River hosted by St. Mary's College of Maryland.
